Minetest is a block building game similar to Minecraft. Students explore the Minetest world and find construction tasks which can be completed by writing Python programs. If they complete the tasks they get extra privileges such as being able to fly or go fast. If they get behind in the course they get sent to a virtual "jail". In the Minetest world they can collaborate with other students and see how other students are progressing.
