  • After completing the course, students will receive knowledge that will help them to understand better refereeing decisions, as well as forming an idea of ​​how exactly these decisions are made and by what criteria the judo actions of athletes should be refereeing. In addition, the course allows you to analyze and realize the mechanism for making referee decisions.
  • With our materials you can:
  • - explore step by step the rules of judo,
  • - understand the main criteria for assessing technical actions, based on the recommendations of the referee with the international license,
  • - realize what actions of athletes are evaluated by referees for score purpose, and which - not.
  • - explanation of the basic current judo rules from the creators of this course.

О курсе

     Purpose of our course is to give students theoretical knowledge of judo rules and the system of assessing the judo actions of athletes. In addition to that this course will provide you with the possibility of applying the knowledge gained in practice later, during the training process and during competitions. 

     For the successful course completion, you need to be familiar with judo technique, to posses a general idea of this sport's rules and to have an experience in participating in judo competitions in any role.

The course is created for judo specialists of different levels and ages. Training materials will be useful for athletes, coaches of different qualifications, for referee beginners and not only. The course includes: - Theoretical section - Video section - Technical action materials - Explanation of the current basic judo rules from the creators of this course.

Как проходит обучение

     To start training, register on the Stepik platform and select the JUDO course > JUDGING > IPPON ASSESSMENT

 Go around step by step: study theoretical part and video with comments and pass the final testing for knowledge of the material passed.

 Students will also be provided with support from mentor-curators who will be able to answer questions that can occur during the course.
