4.         Green energy. The energy sector as a source of environmental damages. Models and assessments. Green vs renewable
energy.
5.         Management of environmental risk in the energy sector. Concept of environmental risk. Environmental risk of energy
sources: renewables and non-renewables. Environmental damages and risk management: main approaches. Energy management.
Waste as the “secondary resources”: recycling and “waste to energy” technologies.

We invite people interested in the issues of the management of natural resources. It is not necessary to explain that nature protection issues are not only the conservation of biological species or purication of soil and water. Human activity in the consumption of natural resources, and rst of all energy resources as a base of whole the economy increased more and more during all the history. But if we want to have a sustainable future, we need to provide a rational use of all the resources and protection of all the environmental components. Thus, rst of all, we developed the course for the people with a system point of view, who understand the necessity of the preventing of environmental problems.
