- The course is basic and will allow you to understand and practice how to conduct your first econometric analysis, as well as structure the gaps in the foundations of more advanced methods. Also, the goal of this course is to understand the application of quantitative scientific analysis techniques for certain tasks.
- The course consists of five modules. You will learn Descriptive statistics, Hypothesis testing, Simple regression analysis, Multiple regression models, Time series analysis. We provide you with a theoretical basis and ability to gain practical experience in econometric analysis. To track your progress, you suppose to complete a short theory test after each module and solve tasks.
- During action learning sessions you will learn how to use the Analysis ToolPak in Excel for Data Analytics

Как проходит обучение
- The course consists of five modules.
- Each module consists of several video lectures. Learning the theory is very important for understanding empirical results. To check whether you understand the main ideas we prepare short tests on theory in each module.
- During the course, you will study many examples. You will start with a very simple model, then upgrade your skills, and learn how to build and assess more sophisticated econometric models. Learning by doing is the main principle of our course
- During our practical workshops (action lessons) we will use Excel as the main tool to get the first results when conducting econometric analysis.
- After each action lesson, you need to complete assignment. To check whether you do everything correctly, you need to answer several questions after each assignment.
