English Heritage: Hadrian’s Wall

The сourse is intended for students who have a previous background of 2–4 years in the language, and focuses more on learning to acquire the historical data in written and spoken form. While learning students also explore the culture connected to it. Therefore, the purpose of the course is language acquisition and intercultural awareness.

Learning Objectives of the Course:

• to uncover historical origin of Hadrian's Wall;
• to comprehend the consequences of the barbarian problem;
• to train pronunciation, learn new vocabulary and know to explain the definitions of the words.
