This course was designed to help you explore one of the most beautiful cities of Russia where the Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES) is located.
VSUES senior teachers of English have tried to create the course in English that would inspire learners of English to go beyond the university program.
The course contains general information about Vladivostok, acquaints you with the most popular cultural and historical attractions, describes recreational facilities. Interactive tasks of the course aim to help you not only to learn the facts but to impove your listening and reading skills in English. Moreover, we invite you to initiate and contribute to the disussions to practise your writing in English.
The course is a kind of travel guide about Vladivostok that can help learners of English to practice in such topics as 'Travel', 'Leisure', 'Food', 'Climate', 'The History of the City' and others.

Данный курс, созданный преподавателями английского языка ВГУЭС, увлекающимися новыми методиками преподавания иностранных языков и любящими свой город, не только содержит основную информацию о Владивостоке, описывает самые известные достопримечательности, знакомит с культурными объектами города, но и закрепляет полученные культурологические знания при помощи интересных заданий. Его можно использовать как путеводитель по самым популярным местам. Этот курс будет особенно полезен изучающим английский язык, т.к. он может использоваться при обучении таких тем, как «Путешествия», «Активный отдых», «Климат», «История города».
